Although the world was not back to normal in 2021, we are so grateful for so many blessings from the last year. We want to thank every one of you for your support. Here is a recap from 2021:
Because of your support, we have been able to host two full bakery classes this year. Our students learn how to make sweet treats to sell at local markets.
The community garden continues to flourish with a bountiful harvest. This year, we were able to help over 40 individuals learn gardening techniques so that they could provide food and income for their families.
The inaugural Communities for Life Golf Tournament, held in September, was a sold-out event and a huge success! We are looking forward to next year’s event.
Because of the generous donations from the golf tournament and throughout the year, we raised enough to build an additional floor on the Life Resource Center in Manchay. This extra space will give our team more room to hold classes and reach more people in Peru.
