Happy Easter from Communities for Life!

We have much to be thankful for this Easter. Our founders, Jack and Alvina Neufeld, recently visited Peru along with Communities for Life partners Ernie and Marilyn Klassen. Their time in Manchay involved special moments of reconnection and discussions of new sustainable opportunities. The trip also included a special time of delivering Samaritan’s Purse Christmas shoeboxes to Manchay children at The Life Resource Center. We are thankful to partner with organizations like Samaritan’s Purse, which provide so much joy for these children.  

We’ll soon hit the second-year milestone for the four construction trades classes taught at The Life Resource Center. Current and former students have already built two houses and are working on a third. Our partner organization, TeamUp, spent some time in Manchay learning about the house-building project. We are excited to share more about this project in the coming months!
