2022 C4L Golf Tournament - Our Photo Story

On September 12, 2022, Communities for Life held our second annual golf tournament at Carnmoney Golf and Country Club in Southern Alberta. Here is a recap of this year’s sold-out event.

Over 130 golfers and sponsors joined us this year at the C4L golf tournament. The Carnmoney Golf and Country Club is situated just south of Calgary, offering picturesque views of the Rocky Mountains, and boasting a challenging British-style course.

Communities for Life is so thankful to the entire team at Carnmoney Golf and Country Club for their hospitality and friendly cooperation with our organization. We are also thankful to all of our volunteers, golfers, and sponsors who helped make the event a success!

Golfers enjoyed beautiful weather throughout the day. The event included a Texas Scramble tournament followed by a dinner and ceremony.

Jack and Alvina Neufeld, founders of the Neufeld Foundation and Communities for Life, enjoyed the day and the opportunity to share about the work their organization is doing in Peru.

During the banquet, attendees were surprised with a live call with a Communities for Life trades class in Manchay! Our partner Julio also showed attendees the new third-level classrooms of the Life Resource Center. The new classrooms and floor were added earlier this year, thanks to donations from last year’s golf tournament.

We are happy to announce that the golf tournament raised enough money that will allow Communities for Life to begin immediate construction on two homes for needy families in Manchay.

Our sold-out event received tremendous feedback from sponsors, players, and Carnmoney themselves. We are looking forward to seeing you next year!
